Julianne Hough Celebrates ‘Christmas at Disney’ With a Montage of Her Performances Through The Years

Dancing With The Stars co-host Julianne Hough recently posted a festive video montage on Instagram showcasing her years performing at Disney’s Christmas event. The montage video celebrates Hough’s long history as part of the annual holiday show.
Julianne Hough Posts Montage Spanning Her Disney Performances
Hough recently shared the video montage set to Sia’s “Candy Cane Lane.” It opens with her and a Mickey Mouse mascot on stage together, with text reading “Christmas at Disney through the years.”
What follows is a series of brief clips from Hough’s many performances for the event dating back to 2016. The montage shows the dancer-singer-actress entertaining crowds together with other performers including her brother Derek Hough in a variety of glittery outfits.
While this year marked Julianne Hough’s first time co-hosting the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade, it wasn’t her first time taking part in the festivities.
Hough has been a frequent face at the annual Disney holiday events for years, bringing her signature sparkle to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Since 2016, she has been performing musical numbers and executing showstopping dance routines.
In 2021, Hough and her brother Derek performed a peppy holiday duet on the parade broadcast on ABC. Last year, Julianne returned to the Disneyland parade stage for a high-energy dance performance of “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”
Julianne Hough Calls Out Crew Member Backstage
In a recent TikTok video, Hough gave fans a candid behind-the-scenes look at filming the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade.
While getting touched up by her glam team, Hough noticed a crew member waving a fan right in her face to combat the heat. Clearly annoyed, Hough pointed out the odd sensation of having air blown on her while fake snow fell around her.
“It’s a weird sensation to be blowing air in your face because it’s so hot while snow is falling on your face,” Hough said.
Before heading back on stage, Hough fanned herself with a piece of paper while the crew member kept waving the fan nearby. The funny video showed Hough wasn’t afraid to speak up when something bothered her backstage.
The Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade special airs December 25 on ABC. Hough promises a magical celebration, despite any uncomfortable moments with overzealous crew members behind the scenes.
