Justin Bieber’s lawyers given all-clear from judge to subpoena Twitter
A judge ruled Thursday that Justin Bieber’s lawyers can subpoena Twitter to ‘uncover’ those behind anonymous sexual assault allegations involving the Canadian singer.
Bieber filed a defamation lawsuit in June, calling the allegations ‘outrageous, fabricated lies.’
One Twitter user accused Bieber of sexually assaulting her at a hotel in Austin, in the year of 2014. The second also claimed Justin sexually assaulted her at a New York hotel. “We just want to uncover who is behind these two accounts and it may be the same person,” Bieber’s lawyer said after Justin presented his evidence in response to the claims, in the hope to disprove them.
