Judge Derek Hough to Perform During ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Horror Night

Monday is Horror Night on Dancing with the Stars, and judge Derek Hough will be taking the floor for a performance with his girlfriend Hayley Erbert. Hough teased the routine on Instagram, and it looks like we’re in for a creepy night in the ballroom.
Derek Hough to Perform on ‘Dancing with the Stars’
“It’s gonna be epic. We have an incredible routine planned for you all,” Hough said in an Instagram video shared by Dancing with the Stars. He teased that the performance would be full of “love, passion, but most of all, horror.”
The show also shared a clip of Hough, Erbert, and a group of dancers reciting a spooky incantation as they crept toward the camera. Another video shows Hough leading the other dancers in a rehearsal. It looks like they’ll be showing off some pretty intense moves.
Hough also posted on Instagram stories about being in a makeup test, presumably for the show. He had some creepy skeleton makeup on his face. We can’t wait to see what he ends up looking like for Monday night’s show. The judge recently won his third Emmy for choreography on Dancing with the Stars, so we’re sure the performance will be a must-see.

What to Expect from ‘DWTS’ Horror Night
The remaining couples will perform during Dancing with the Stars Horror Night on Monday, with voting open for fans during the show. At the end of the night, the votes will be combined with the judges’ scores to determine who should be eliminated from the competition.
For their performances, the couples will be inspired by various scary movies and TV shows, from Saw to The Vampire Diaries. According to a press release, they’ll be dancing in various styles to songs such as “Bad Habits” by Ed Sheeran and “Take My Breath” by The Weeknd.
The show has had various themed nights so far this season, including Disney Week and Grease Week. We’re sure Monday’s show will put us in the Halloween spirit.
