Joe Jonas recently showcased a surprising talent during one of their concerts in Anaheim, California. Not only is he a singer but, as it turns out, he can also officiate weddings. The musician paused the Jonas Brothers’ show to officiate the wedding of the band’s percussionist, Molly Lopresti, and her fiancé, Nick Shirm.
Joe Jonas Officiated a Band Member’s Wedding
The moment was captured on video and shared on social media, quickly gaining attention from fans and the media. In the video, Joe Jonas helped the couple exchange their vows and pronounced them husband and wife, eliciting cheers and applause from the excited crowd. The brothers even serenaded the newlyweds with a special performance of “When You Look Me in the Eyes” for their first dance.
It all began when Lopresti expressed her desire to go on tour with the Jonas Brothers, but her impending wedding to Shirm was a hurdle. It was then that the Jonas Brothers decided to lend a helping hand and offer their very own ordained minister—Joe himself to officiate the wedding.

This isn’t the first time the Jonas Brothers have made headlines for their special moments on stage. Just earlier this month, they welcomed their father, Kevin Jonas Sr., on stage in Nashville to perform the Eagles’ classic “Desperado.”
In a video that has been circulating on social media and was captured by fans in the crowd, Nick Jonas explained that their father played a significant role in their presence that night.
The Jonas Brothers are on Tour
The Jonas Brothers have been on an ambitious tour that covers songs from their entire collection. Nick described it as their “most ambitious” concert, featuring tracks from five of their albums. This tour represents a musical journey that traces the band’s evolution from their early days to the present.
In a recent interview, Kevin emphasized the importance of having fun and enjoying their music. He mentioned that when they were younger, they felt a lot of pressure to get everything right, but now their main focus is to have fun and continue making music that they love.
“I do think we put a lot of pressure on ourselves when we were younger to get it all right,” Kevin said. “I think now we just kind of do what we need to do to have fun and continue making music that we love
This change in approach seems to be working well for the band, as they continue to captivate audiences around the world with their energetic performances and heartwarming moments like Joe officiating Lopresti’s wedding.
