Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner’s Marriage “Crumbled” Because He Was “Too Controlling”

The Joe Jonas-Sophie Turner divorce has gotten even messier. Multiple sources are now coming in, giving a broader view of the controversy. As per insiders, the pair’s romance started breaking apart about a year ago.
Sources Reveal Reasons Why Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner’s Marriage Fell Apart
Several sources went to Us Weekly to describe how Turner and Jonas privately caused their marriage to crumble. Apparently, one source revealed that The Jonas Brothers schedule with the tour had been one of the primary factors of their divorce.
“Sophie didn’t want to always be ‘the Jonas brother’s wife,'” the source said. “She didn’t want to go on tour and do everything together. It’s not her personality, and she wanted to keep their family separate from all the Jonas Brothers hoopla.”
Meanwhile, a second source claimed that the Game of Thrones actress felt “overwhelmed” balancing her acting career and taking care of her two daughters with the singer. Adding to that was the struggle of keeping up with Jonas’ frequent travels as a musician. The source further claimed that Turner’s role of being a “mom on the road” is challenging even when their resources weren’t scarce.
“It was just hard for them to settle into a regular routine because of Joe’s career especially,” the source said.
Apart from Jonas’ taxing concert schedule, a third source stated that the musician has jealous tendencies. The source further claimed that Turner said that Jonas was “too controlling.”
“She also said Joe liked to flirt a little too much while out in public, but then he wouldn’t like it when she would get too close to her male friends,” he said. “It was clear their marriage was crumbling.”
In a joint statement on September 6, Turner and Jonas announced their divorce to the public. The former couple explained that they have “mutually decided” to end the marriage. They then asked for respect of privacy for them and their children amid the difficult time.
Source Clears Up Ring Camera Footage Report
The first source also clarified the undisclosed ring camera footage that allegedly compelled Jonas to file divorce. According to them, Turner said “some not-so-nice things” about Jonas to a friend.
“It wasn’t anything more than that, but that was the final straw,” the source said.
During the first wave of their divorce controversy, misogynistic reports came out where Jonas played Turner down. This has reportedly made the actress “shocked and hurt,” as she was “essentially painted as a party animal.”
As Jonas and Turner attempt to finalize their divorce, the third source claimed that they are only communicating through their respective legal representatives.
“Sophie is focused on motherhood, coparenting her girls with Joe and her work projects, in that order,” the third source said. “She didn’t plan on being a single mom, but that’s what’s happening, so she’s making the best of it.”
At present, Jonas and Turner are dedicated and putting all their effort into “the well-being and happiness of their children.”
