Jessie James Decker, Eric Decker Adopt a Puppy on Valentine’s Day

Stopping by the Country Now studio in Nashville, Tennessee, Jessie James Decker met a number of puppies from Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue for the outlet’s “Pupdate” series. Apparently, the country musician happened to fall in love with one dog, thus convincing her husband Eric Decker to allow her to adopt one.

In a recent Instagram post, Decker shared a series of snaps pertaining to the dig adoption process. This post included how she persuaded Eric to accept the puppy to their family. A screenshot revealed that the former NFL player was hesitant at first, stating that he doesn’t want to be “attached” to a pet. Yet, by the state of their family now, Eric has obviously given up to her wife’s adorable wish.

The same post also showed Eric’s first meeting with the dog, taken before the couple took it home. They named the dog Hart Olivia Decker.

“Hart completed the heart of our family,” she said. “I feel like she chose us. We weren’t expecting to come home with a puppy that day, but it felt so right.”

Currently, the Decker family is already an eight-member household. Prior to Hart’s entrance, they have two golden retrievers, Jake and Jenny. Jessie and Eric also have three children, Vivianne, 8, Eric II, 7, and Forrest, 4.

She, Billy Currington to Perform Their Single For The First Time

Back in October 2022, Decker released her latest single “I Still Love You” alongside Billy Currington. Luckily, the two were given the chance to perform this song at the Grand Ole Opry.

“For the FIRST TIME EVER!!!!!!! @bccoconutman and I will be performing our single “I still love you” at the @opry,” she wrote. “See y’all this weekend.”

Decker and Currington will grace the Opry stage on March 11, at 7:00 p.m. CST. For fans who wish to see the two perform live, tickets are available at the Opry’s main website.

Just recently as well, the official music video of “I Still Love You” has reached one million views on YouTube. With this, Decker expressed a message of appreciation to her supporters on Instagram.
