In a clever and lighthearted Father’s Day video, singer and Dancing With The Stars alum, Jessie James Decker took matters into her own hands, humorously addressing her husband Eric Decker’s refusal to get a vasectomy. The video, posted on Ryan Reynolds’ social media accounts, showcased Jessie’s mixology skills as she created the “Vasectomy Cocktail,” poking fun at Eric while providing a recipe for a refreshing drink.

A year after Nick Cannon starred in the same Father’s Day ad, Jessie poked fun at her husband Eric’s reluctance to get a vasectomy in a Father’s Day-themed commercial for Reynolds’ spirits brand Aviation American Gin.
Taking a cue from Nick Cannon, who acknowledged his large family tree by making a cocktail called the Vasectomy in a spot for the brand last year, Jessie crafted her version of the drink in the new ad. She also wasn’t afraid to call Eric out in the process.
The “Wanted” artist—who shares daughter Vivianne, 9, and sons Eric Jr., 7, and Forrest, 5, with the former football player—then proceeded to provide step-by-step instructions on how to make the beverage, starting with filling a tall glass with ice. Next, Jessie added cranberry juice that’s “sweet like an outpatient gesture of love,” the gin, and a squeeze of lemon into the glass, topping it off with some tonic.
While the commercial was for Reynolds’ gin, she couldn’t help but share her love for Betty Buzz, the non-alcoholic mixers brand founded by Reynolds’ wife Blake Lively. The DWTS alum then finished the cocktail by stirring it all up and adding an orange peel, holding up the garnish and stating, “It looks like this one could use a snip.”

Jessie opened up about her husband Eric’s firm stance against getting a vasectomy, shedding light on the reasons behind his decision. In an interview, Jessie disclosed that the choice to expand their family rests solely with Eric.
While discussing the possibility of further additions to their family, Jessie shared that her 35-year-old husband adamantly “refuses to go make it permanent” by getting a vasectomy. Despite her persistent requests for him to make the appointment, Eric remains reluctant due to his belief that the procedure “takes his manhood away from him.”
