Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been the subject of divorce rumors for months now, and fans are wondering if they’ll announce a split soon. According to a source, the couple is waiting to officially share the news with the public.
Are Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck Waiting to Announce Divorce?
Lopez and Affleck tied the knot in 2022, having called off a previous engagement 2004. In recent months, divorce rumors have swirled about the pair, who celebrated their two-year anniversary in July. Lopez took a European vacation without Affleck, and he was reportedly absent from her recent birthday celebration.
A source told Entertainment Tonight that the couple is “waiting to announce their official split, because they want to make sure everything is seamless when they do, especially with everyone involved.” The source added, “They are treating the separation with as much grace, understanding, and gentleness as they can.”
The couple has five children between them from previous marriages, and ET‘s source said they want their families to be “comfortable with the transition.” They apparently don’t want the kids to “feel like they’re pulling the rug from underneath” them.

Affleck Has Bought a New House
Yet another sign that the couple’s marriage may be in trouble is the fact that Affleck has reportedly moved into a new home after putting his house with Lopez up for sale. The new house is a $20.5 million equestrian estate in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Lopez was recently spotted touring a $68 million mansion in Beverly Hills. According to TMZ, the star wasn’t wearing her wedding ring as she checked out the home alongside her 16-year-old daughter Emme.
