‘DWTS’ Pros Jenna Johnson, Ezra Sosa React to JoJo Siwa, Chris Hughes Relationship

Dancing With The Stars pros Jenna Johnson and Ezra Sosa are reacting to JoJo Siwa’s new rumored romance. For those who may not remember, Johnson was Siwa’s partner during Season 30 of the competition show. Sosa, on the other hand is Siwa’s close friend.
Jenna Johnson, Ezra Sosa React to Siwa’s New Fling, Chris Hughes
On the American Music Awards red carpet, Entertainment Tonight asked Dancing With The Stars pros Jenna Johnson and Ezra Sosa about Siwa’s new rumored romance with Love Island‘s Chris Hughes. The professional dancers are clearly in full support of their friend.
“Listen, I firsthand know that love happens when you least expect it,” Johnson said. “I’m happy for her, I want her to be happy and enjoy young love so, I’m here for it.”
Sosa then went on to compare Siwa’s relationship with Hughes to their own. For those who may not know, Sosa and Siwa met during DWTS, then Sosa went on tour with Siwa.
“She’s my best friend and let’s say she’s punctual with relationships, lord knows what’s happening but I think there’s a lot of similarities with her relationship with Chris that I found myself with her too,” Sosa said. “When I was on tour with JoJo we were super close and really bonded and I see that very much with her and Chris. It makes me so happy that she has someone like that in her life right now.”
JoJo Siwa made headlines in April when she was seen cozying up with Love Island’s Chris Hughes on Celebrity Big Brother. Ahead of leaving the series, Siwa admitted that although she used to identify as a lesbian, she now identifies as Queer.
Following the show’s finale, Siwa appeared on Nick Viall’s podcast, The Viall Files, where she cleared the air, admitting her split from partner Kath Ebbs had nothing to do with her friendship with Hughes. In the same episode, Siwa admitted that she had no interest in dating at the time.
Since then, Siwa and Hughes both shared intimate photos for Siwa’s birthday. The two were also spotted kissing in a pool in Mexico. Although the celebrities themselves have yet to confirm the romance, many fans have taken the kiss as proof that Siwa and Hughes may already be coupled up.
DWTS Returns This Fall, Alix Earle, Robert Irwin Added to Roster
Although DWTS typically doesn’t begin until September, the show has already begun announcing their upcoming celebrity roster. In April, ABC announced Robert Irwin joining the cast, and a month later they announced Alix Earle joining the cast.
Due to the interesting early released roster, Entertainment Tonight discussed the celebrities with the professional dancers. Johnson spoke first, about her approval of the new celebrities.
“I think they are the perfect addition to the show,” Johnson said. “I think both of them are perfect. We’re really introduced a new demographic of this younger audience and I think they’re going to bring in so many awesome audience members so I think they’re so awesome.”
When the interviewer commented to Sosa that he thought Sosa and Earle would make great partners, Sosa joked “Don’t jinx it for me babes.”
“It’d be stupid if anyone didn’t want her,” Sosa said. “She’s clearly such a big name, such a great personality, and she can freaking dance, like she got it.”
Dancing With The Stars is set to return to ABC this Fall. The premiere date has yet to be released at this time. Fans cannot wait for the series to return in 2025.
