Jason Mraz Gets Real About ‘DWTS’: “Hardest Thing I’ve Ever Done”

Folk-pop star Jason Mraz is getting candid about his first weeks as a contestant of Dancing With The Stars. The “I’m Yours” hitmaker recently shared a short reflection about the difficulty of joining the competition.
Jason Mraz Says DWTS is the Hardest Thing He’s Ever Done
In a short video she uploaded on TikTok, Mraz gave a snippet of his rehearsal with his pro partner Daniella Karagach. The clip showed a sweaty dancing duo as they were trying to do the footwork of their dancing routine.
“This show is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. There are no days off. Physically, I am pushing myself to the edge. And I’m about to go over it,” he wrote.
Mraz also added the video on her Instagram feed. There, he took the time to pay tribute to Karagach. According to the “Lucky” singer he’s been trying to keep up with the respectable DWTS pro.
“Trying to keep up with @daniellakaragach – choreographer, teacher, pro and new mom. Wow. Much respect to this inspiring, world class human,” he wrote.
During the premiere night of season 32, the Grammy-winning artist danced Cha Cha to his own song, “I Feel Like Dancing.” Scoring a 21/30, judge Bruno Tonioli proclaimed he’s a “dancer” and Carrie Ann Inaba called their performance “the best dance of the night.”
For the Latin night, he and Karagach managed to step up, getting a 24/30. The two performed Rumba to “Quizás, Quizás, Quizás” by Andrea Bocelli featuring Jennifer Lopez. Head judge Derek Hough congratulated Mraz for nailing the routine, while Inaba described the same as “exceptional.”
Fans Cheer Him Up Amid Tough Process
Soon after seeing Mraz’s post, his fans immediately sent their words of encouragement. As per fans, Mraz’s hard work will eventually get good results.
“Don’t give up! The finish line is worth all the pain! You’re doing an amazing job!” one fan wrote.
“Your hard work is paying off! It’s a lot of pressure. Thank you for giving your all. The season will pass and you’ll be glad you did it,” another fan wrote.
“I can only imagine how grueling it must be! You are doing so amazing and I love that I get to see you perform every week!” another fan commented.
Amid all his inhibitions, several of Mraz’s fans are assuring him that he’ll be getting their votes every episode. It’s clear that fans now see Mraz as a potential season 32 champion. If he will manage to snatch a Mirrorball Trophy, it will also be the second time that Karagach wins.
