‘AGT’ Host Terry Crews Teases 2023 with Cool Photo
On Tuesday, Crews posted a photo on Twitter and Instagram in which he poses in a hallway lit by blue lights. He wears an all-black outfit and sunglasses and holds a black bag. The star has a serious look as he stands with his feet apart.
“Watch out 2023… I’m ready to work!!!” Crews wrote in the caption, tagging Storm Santos as the photographer behind the cool shot. Santos has shared a few other shots of Crews on his own account in recent months, including the star’s current profile picture.
There were plenty of comments on the new post referencing The Matrix. One fan wrote, “Sooooo you took the red pill?” Another commenter called him “Buff Morpheus.” However, it’s not clear if the photo is attached to a particular project, or if Crews was just using it to illustrate his motivation to work hard next year.
What Does Crews Have Lined Up for Next Year?
Crews is starting 2023 as the host of America’s Got Talent: All-Stars. The spin-off, which taped earlier this year, will premiere January 2 on NBC. Auditions are now open for Season 18 of America’s Got Talent, although Crews has not yet been confirmed as host.
As for other projects, Crews’ IMDb page lists an upcoming voice credit in the TV series Jessica’s Big Little World, set for next year. The star has also been promoting his new graphic novel, Terry’s Crew, which was released earlier this year.
Recently, Crews expressed interest in starring in Netflix’s upcoming live-action movie adaptation of the video game Gears of War. As he said, “It’s not up to me, but if I had the chance and if anyone wanted me for this movie and for this role, I would take it in a heartbeat.”
