Influencer Olivia Jade Set For ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 30
The influencer and Lori Loughlin’s daughter has joined the cast of Dancing with the Stars, which premieres September 20. The 21-year-old rose to fame due to her mother’s role in the 2019 college admissions scandal. She is now a well-known beauty influencer.
According to E! News, the Youtube star does not have any dance experience, but that an insider claims “Dancing With the Stars is one way that she is taking her life into her own hands, learning from past mistakes, and challenging herself in new areas.”
Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli were both sentenced to prison after it was discovered that they, among others, falsely secured their daughters’ acceptances to the University of Souther California. The two made $500,000 donations to the schools and promised that Olivia and her sister Isabella would join the women’s rowing team.
After the investigation, Olivia took a break from YouTube due to heavy criticism on her videos. She also left the University of Southern California, although it was never revealed whether she unenrolled voluntarily, or if she was withdrawn by the university.
Dancing with the Stars Reveals First Celebs to Compete for Season 30
Olivia joins JoJo Siwa and Suni Lee for the Season 30 celebrity line up. Siwa will be the first contestant to ever compete on the show with a dance partner of the same sex.
Kenya Moore of Housewives fame is also rumored to be a contestant on the new season. Her participation has not yet been confirmed.
Traditionally, the Dancing with the Stars cast is revealed on Good Morning America as one large group. However, this season has already been filled with spoilers, early announcements, and fan speculation. The big reveal is scheduled for September 8, two weeks before the September 20 premiere. At this rate I’m sure the whole cast will be leaked before we make it to GMA.
