Bailon Opened Up About Her Fertility Struggles
In 2018, Bailon opened up about her experience trying to get pregnant on her talk show The Real. According to People, she expressed her frustration with people asking if she was pregnant.
“I think that as an audience we should be sensitive to the fact that everybody doesn’t get pregnant right away,” she said at the time. “I think for myself I thought it would happen so easily for me and it just hasn’t happened that way.”
Bailon added that she had “come to peace with that it’ll happen when it’s God’s timing.” Still, she said that it could be “really discouraging and it can be really frustrating.”
Bailon’s co-host Jeannie Mai commented on her Instagram announcement, writing of her own daughter, “Monaco’s ready for matching outfits.” Former co-host Tamera Mowry also commented, writing, “Cried so many tears of joy today!”
