I Can See Your Voice has shared a clip from the upcoming Season 3 premiere of the show, set to air on FOX on January 3. In the video, a singer lip syncs to a performance, and it’s up to the contestant and celebrity detectives to figure out if it’s really her voice.
I Can See Your Voice Shares Preview from Season Premiere
“Is Sorority Sister a good or bad singer?” is the caption of the new preview clip. The video shows a young woman lip syncing to a cover of “Just Give Me a Reason” by Pink. The voice on the track is deep and soulful.
The celebrity detectives — including regular panelists Cheryl Hines and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, as well as American Idol‘s Lauren Alaina — seem surprised to hear such a voice associated with the performer. But is it actually her voice, or someone else’s?
In case you didn’t know, that’s the premise of I Can See Your Voice. Contestants have to guess whether people are good or bad singers. They base this on the person’s appearance and stated occupation, as well as watching them lip sync to a pre-recorded track.
