America’s Got Talent judge Howie Mandel continues to give his social media followers a dose of his comedy. The television personality recently left fans confused after posting a pregnant photo of himself.
Howie Mandel Displays Hilarious Baby Bump on Instagram
Mandel pulled the funny antic on August 15 via an Instagram. Wearing an all-black outfit, the comedian posed for the camera while flaunting a prosthetic baby bump. Grinning in the snapshot, the comedian captioned his post, “#announcement #baby #bumpin.”
Unlike some of Mandel’s past pranks, this recent joke was easier to be taken as it is. Upon seeing his post, fans were quick to ride on it and give their funny replies.
“Congratulations! Is it Simon’s?,” a person wrote.
“When is the gender reveal party?” another user commented.
One user also quipped, congratulating Mandel for getting the Golden Buzzer. Some fans, on the other hand, are puzzled with the comedian’s post. Apparently, there were people thinking that there’s an actual pregnancy announcement behind Mandel’s post.
Fans Slammed AGT Judges Before for Their Pregnancy-Themed April Fools’ Joke
A few months ago, Mandel was criticized alongside other AGT judges Sofia Vergara and Heidi Klum for pulling an “insensitive” pregnancy prank. For April Fools’ Day, Mandel posted a photo of the German supermodel supposedly showing off her baby bump, as Vergara bent down to kiss it.
“Congratulations. @heidiklum Co-workers @sofiavergara and I are the first know,” Mandel wrote.
While the trio’s intention was, for sure, nothing bad, the joke didn’t sit well with fans. After seeing the prank, several called out the three for being inconsiderate of the people struggling with infertility.
“God, I wish celebrities would stop pulling this ‘prank,'” one person commented.
However, many internet users also tried to defend the three, saying the joke wasn’t something to be offended about. A couple of women share their infertility story and claimed they didn’t feel attacked by the post.
