Howie Mandel Loves Don McMillan’s “Technically Funny” Humor on ‘America’s Got Talent’

Technically funny comedian Don McMillan is set to appear on Tuesday night’s round of America’s Got Talent auditions. The engineer turned comedian’s audition has been leaked ahead of the upcoming audition episode.
Within the leaked audition, Don McMillan is telling a joke about marriage. He points out the fact that 44% of marriages end in divorce, while 56% of marriages end in death. The audience laughed at the joke, while Howie Mandel clarifies “until death does us part.”
This small snippet of the act shows off great potential for this comedian. We’ve seen some other great comedians to this point, so will Don make the mark? Who is Don McMillan?
Don considers himself to be “America’s #1 Nerdy Comedian,” so it’s no surprise that he wants to win America’s Got Talent. This comedian is the result of mixing an Engineer with a stand up comedian. Ahead of becoming a comedian, Don graduated from Stanford University with Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He then went on to work in a group at AT&T Bell Labs, the group designed the world’s first 32-bit microprocessor. With that knowledge, he helped launch the start up company VLSI Technology, before quitting his 15 year career the tech world for comedy. In the same year he quit tech, he won $100,000 as the Comedy Grand Champion on Star Search. Don has appeared on The Tonight Show, HBO, and Comedy Central.
In modern day, Don mostly performs in corporate comedy shows for large companies like Google, Apple, Amazon, Ford Motors, and more. He has performed in more than 800 corporate shows in the past 20 years. CBS Business Network named Don as the #1 Corporate Comedian.
