America’s Got Talent judge Howie Mandel is the guest host on Monday’s new episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show. Mandel started the show with a cover of Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone” and interviewed AGT host Terry Crews about his dancing pecs.
Howie Mandel Sings ‘Since U Been Gone’ by Kelly Clarkson
Mandel promised Clarkson’s audience that they were “in for a real good time,” adding that he’s a fan of the show himself. He acknowledged that Clarkson usually starts the show by singing, so he went on to share some “Howieoke.”
Mandel launched into a cover of Clarkson’s song “Since U Been Gone,” with the help her her in-house band. The performance was questionable, to say the least. It definitely couldn’t compare to Anne Hathaway’s rendition of the song.
Thankfully, Mandel decided to cut the performance short, telling the band, “You guys were not on.” He decided it was a better idea to share an encore of Clarkson’s past performance of “Sucker” by the Jonas Brothers.

Terry Crews Talks About His Dancing Pecs
AGT host Terry Crews sat down to chat with Mandel during Monday’s show, and he touched on his talent for making his pecs dance. He shared that “anybody in the world can do it” by pressing their palms together and squeezing.
Crews also explained that he learned the trick when he was “really lonely” as a kid and happened to look in the mirror and notice he could do it. Mandel joked, “When your only friends are your two nipples, that is really lonely.”
The host has taught AGT judges Simon Cowell and Heidi Klum how to do the trick, although Mandel joked that they’re “not allowed to see” Klum’s version.
Both Mandel and Crews are currently appearing on AGT: All-Stars. The new episode of the season premieres Monday night at 8/7c on NBC.
