Hayley Erbert Injured in Accident, Fans Wonder What Happened

Dancing with the Stars troupe member Hayley Erbert recently shared on Instagram that she was injured in an accident. Although she’s apparently okay, she hasn’t shared many details about what happened with her fans.
Hayley Erbert Shares Accident Injury on Instagram
According to Heavy, Erbert took to Instagram stories on Sunday to share a photo of herself with her two dogs. The side of her head appeared to be scraped or bruised. She captioned the image, “Healing cuddles.”
This obviously worried many of her fans, who apparently sent her messages about the injury. On Monday, Erbert once again took to Instagram stories to write, “Thank you for all the love last night.. I don’t want to leave anyone hanging so long story short, I was in an accident but I am okay!”
She added that she plans to “explain more in detail soon.” Later, Erbert shared more Instagram stories from a festive night out with her fiancé, DWTS judge Derek Hough. She posted another photo showing her injured face, writing, “Much needed night out with my love.”
Fans on the DWTS Reddit, meanwhile, are wondering what happened and hoping everything is okay.

Erbert Was Also Injured Last Month
This is Erbert’s second injury in a month, as she hurt her shoulder while rehearsing a dance with Hough for the Dancing with the Stars Season 31 finale in November. The couple had to pull out of performing during the show.
“We were doing a lift we’ve danced 100 times, but something weird happened causing Hayley to fall awkwardly and hard onto her shoulder,” Hough wrote on Instagram at the time, adding that Erbert would be getting an MRI.
Erbert isn’t the only member of the DWTS family to get injured recently. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba shared last week on Instagram that she fractured her rib while building furniture.
