Gwen Stefani Honors Blake Shelton During His Birthday, Father’s Day
Last Sunday did not pass without Stefani expressing her love for Shelton. On her Instagram Stories, the “Hollaback Girl” hitmaker posted an adorable social media tribute for her husband. Stefani also greeted her father Dennis, posting a picture of Shelton and him together.
“Happy Father’s Day to my favorites,” she wrote.
Subsequently, she uploaded a photo of her youngest son Apollo alongside the “Honey Bee” singer. In the picture, Apollo is giving Shelton a trophy that says “Best Step Dad.” Stefani then posted more photos, one including her kissing her husband’s cheek, accompanied by a sweet text.
“Happy Bday to my everything cowboy, Blake Shelton.” the caption reads.
Stefani also didn’t waste the chance of posting about Shelton on her Instagram feed. The “Rich Girl” performer took the time to compile several candid photos and video clips of them together. Evidently, the two are effortlessly carefree and in love around each other.
She Gave Fans a Sneak Peek of Her New Single “True Babe”
In the same Instagram post, Stefani also teased her upcoming single “True Babe.” The said song served as the background music for Stefani’s tribute video, indicating that she dedicates the same to Shelton.
Last year, the No Doubt frontwoman revealed that she was working on an album but has decided to scrap the entire thing.
“I did go in during the quarantine years and I did write a bunch of songs, like 30+ songs, but I didn’t feel the passion that I’ve wanted to put it out,” she said.
Now though, Stefani is back on track, with a brand-new track to treat her fans. The new single will be released on Friday, June 23. For the mean time, fans can pre-save the new music on Spotify and pre-add it on Apple Music.
