Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton Share Glimpses of Their Outdoorsy Thanksgiving Weekend in Oklahoma

For Thanksgiving this year, megastar Gwen Stefani and her husband Blake Shelton decided to be one with nature. The pop singer and country crooner spent the Holiday weekend together, at their Oklahoma ranch.

On Friday, November 24, the “Rich Girl” singer shared a video on Instagram showing how she and her family enjoyed their weekend in Tishomingo. Adorably, the whole family were wearing matching camouflage jackets for the occasion.
“Family fun this holiday weekend 🙂 gx,” she wrote.
For the holiday, Stefani and Shelton baked homemade pepperoni pizza using an outdoor pizza oven. Alongside Stefani’s sons—Kingston, Zuma and Apollo, the couple were also with a couple of dogs dressed in red flannel dog coats.
The clip also showed Shelton cutting wood, erecting tents, and building a fire. Lastly, to set the mood of the video, Stefani inserted her song “Under the Christmas Lights” as background music.
Upon seeing the pop star’s post, fans immediately expressed what they think about the family’s holiday weekend. Most fans pointed out how Stefani transformed from being an LA girl to being a Oklahoma native.
“That’s so cute she’s trying to be a country girl, I bet she’s such a sweet person! I love how this shows opposites attract!” one fan wrote.
“I am so happy for you, you get to experience Love @ this level. Your boys are blessed to have Blake in their life to show them this side of life in the country/ woods VS. La life.. Wonderful watching your family develop together!” another fan wrote.
In September, Stefani got candid about her move to Oklahoma since she married Shelton.
“I am not really a dirt person, a bug person, I don’t like that much humidity. But you sort of get over it all because it’s so beautiful [in Oklahoma], and you kind of feel like you’re going into this vortex and it’s just different here … I guess it’s just nature, and God, is all right there,” she said.
The Couple Cooked Unconventional Thanksgiving Turkey for Their Family
Ahead of their bonding time in the ranch, Stefani showed some fun clips regarding the fun activities they did for Thanksgiving. The family decided to showcase themselves make this large meal.
Within the video, Stefani flaunted their elaborate table setting which she herself set up. In the clip, she demonstrated her beautiful cutlery and floral arrangements.
For their Thanksgiving meal, Stefani and Shelton included crumbling Funyuns onto the turkey. This move has apparently amazed their fans and followers.
“Not the Funyun turkey LOL Hope yall had the best day,” one fan commented.
During his guest appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Shelton explained why he sprinkles Funyuns to their turkey. According to him, his three stepsons inspired him to put crunchy snacks instead of traditional toppings.
“LUV how real and normal you two are… you could so afford to be catered too and look at you two!!!” one fan wrote.
