Glen Powell Details “Great Chemistry” with Sydney Sweeney On-Screen

Anyone But You co-stars Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney sure know how to act like they’re in love with one another. Recently, Powell talked about his professional relationship with Sweeney, which made it easy for them to manifest an effortless chemistry on-screen.
Glen Powell Says It’s “Very Easy” to Pretend Fall in Love with Sydney Sweeney
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Powell discussed his good work-related chemistry with Sweeney created a promising rom-com movie. The two are film stars to the Will Gluck-directed film Anyone But You.
“A great rom-com doesn’t survive without great chemistry, and Sydney is the easiest person to have chemistry with,” Powell said. “I mean, immediately, it was like we’d known each other forever, and I think anybody that’s been on the set realizes I never get tired of talking to Sydney.”
The actor went on, stating how Sydney made it painless for him to pretend falling in love with her.
“We make each other laugh,” he said. “She’s awesome, obviously one of the most talented actresses we have. This movie has felt like a rom-com in itself because Sydney is very easy to pretend fall in love with.”
Anyone But You will begin showing in theaters on December 22. The movie is described as a modernized adaptation of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, and follows two former rivals who hate each other but have to pretend to be a couple, until an eventual romance sparks between them.
Apparently, during the filming of the project in Australia, speculations that the co-stars were dating. The rumors were further intensified when Powell ended his relationship with his girlfriend Gigi Paris.
Despite the romance rumors, Powell and Sweeney have expressly denied the allegations. In an interview with Variety, the actress stated that she “felt beat up by” the speculations as if she doesn’t have a chance to defend herself.
Meanwhile, in a story by Men’s Health, Powell said that the public’s allegations were “disorienting and unfair.”
Sweeney Recently Put On PDA with Her Fiancé Jonathan Davino
What’s making the dating rumors complicated is the fact that Sweeney is engaged. Be that as it may, it seems that her relationship with her fiancé Jonathan Davino wasn’t anything stained.
Most recently, the couple was seen showing PDA while strolling through the Gold Coast Airport. They were catching a flight back to U.S. for the holidays.
The Euphoria star was wearing a cream-colored top. She then tucked it into a pair of matching pants. On the other hand, Davino went for a casual look, slipping on a white T-shirt, black jeans, and stylish sunglasses.
The couple’s PDA comes after the romance rumors between the co-stars. Nonetheless, in spite of her frustration over the issue, Sweeney hopes that fans will see beyond their unwarranted assumptions.
“[Anyone But You] is special because you actually get to see the amount of fun that we all had making it,” she said. “We truly had an amazing experience together, and I really hope that that comes off and everyone can feel that; that love and friendship that was made on this film.”
