Reading Time: 3 minutes
For his first-ever YouTube vlog, Gleb Savchenko and fellow Dancing With The Stars pro Emma Slater show fans their candid dance rehearsal. Showing grace and precise steps, fans are totally gushing over their professional chemistry.
Gleb Savchenko, Emma Slater Take Fans to Their Dance Practice
It’s only once in a blue moon for DWTS pros to share what happens during their raw dance practices. Savchenko thus did fans a favor when he posted a vlog of him rehearsing with Slater for a charity event.
“I just wanted to show you a little BTS, what the process is, and how this whole thing works,” he said. “Because you see us dance all the time but you’ve never seen us actually practice in rehearsal and what the process is.”
During the vlog’s intro, Savchenko arrived at the practice studio finding Slater in her comfy all-black outfit. The British pro was shown recalling their steps to “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston, eventually joined by Savchenko in the last part of the song.
The official content then began with the two dancing to Ariana Grande’s “God is a Woman.” Savchenko and Slater also watched and reacted to their Dancing With The Stars Live performance of the same routine.
“We do have a good connection,” Savchenko said. “We feel each other’s body weights.”
Afterwards, the vlog transitioned to the pair rehearsing once more to “I Have Nothing.” As expected, the two showcased their undeniable charisma even during dance practice.
The last part of the upload showed the duo reflecting on Dancing With The Stars Live 2023. Stating that they had a “blast” on tour, Slater said that it’s fun to go around various places and perform. On the other hand, for Savchenko, he puts more importance on the reward of fulfillment that they get from people.
The Duo Had a Math Session During the Vlog
In between their dance practice clips, the vlog also showed Savchenko and Slater struggling over math. The arithmetic problem arose when Savchenko told Slater a little trivia.
“One million in seconds is 11 minutes and one billion is 31 years in seconds,” he said. “So we want to be billionaires, not millionaires.”
Skeptical about the trivia, Slater challenged Savchenko to fact-check the same. The two then started solving the problem manually, resulting in hilarious confusion on both ends.
Savchenko posted a snippet of their math struggle on Instagram, and fans immediately chimed in to help.
“One billion seconds is about 31.75 years,” one user commented.
“I literally have no clue but luv this video all the same,” another person wrote.
Currently, DWTS pros are preparing for Dancing With The Stars Live 2024. The final lineup of dancing pros to perform on tour haven’t been revealed yet. Nonetheless, fans do expect Slater and Savchenko to be there.Â
