Girl Named Tom is among several past The Voice artists who will be returning to the show for Season 29, Battle of Champions. The Season 21 winners shared that their coach Kelly Clarkson invited them to compete in an All-Star Showdown.
Girl Named Tom Among Past The Voice Contestants Returning
Back in July, it was announced that Season 29 of The Voice would feature returning coaches Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, and John Legend competing in a Battle of Champions. In addition to coaching new artists, the three stars have also invited several of their past artists back to the show.
During the Knockouts, these returning artists will compete in sing-offs. The coach with the most sing-off wins is guaranteed to have a second Season 29 artist in the finale. These sing-offs will be judged by former coach CeeLo Green.
Earlier this week, Season 21’s winning sibling trio Girl Named Tom announced that they’re among the past contestants returning for this round of the competition. They shared that the In-Season All-Star Competition will tape on Saturday, September 6. Tickets to the taping are available for free online.

Which Other Artists Are Returning?
There is a total of six past artists returning to The Voice stage for Season 29’s sing-offs. According to ticketing site 1iota, Kelly Clarkson’s second returning act in the All-Star Showdown is Season 17 winner Jake Hoot.
Returning on Adam Levine’s team are Season 1 winner Javier Colon and Season 9 winner Jordan Smith. On John Legend’s team, Season 16 winner Maelyn Jarmon will be returning, along with Season 27 finalist Renzo.
Notably, Renzo is the only returning artist who did not win his respective season. This is because Maelyn Jarmon is coach John Legend’s only winning artist. Legend won the show with Jarmon in his very first season as a coach, back in 2019.
Will this put Legend at a disadvantage? We’ll have to wait and see when Season 29 airs early next year.
