Alan Silva is a Talented Aerialist
If you saw Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity production at the New York-New York Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip, it’s highly likely that you were captivated by Silva’s performance. In case you are one of those who haven’t seen Silva’s aerial silk act, then you are in for quite a treat by witnessing him in action.
Silva has already wowed the judges and audiences when he competed on AGT season 15, finishing strong in fifth place. He has also competed on the eighth season of Spain’s Got Talent where he earned a well-deserved Golden Buzzer for his performance.
The Brazilian performer is a sixth-generation circus performer who has practiced trampoline, trapeze, Russian bar, and other acrobatic skills. His aerial silk performance in Zumanity is both a literal highlight and one of the show’s finale acts.
“I just want to tell everyone my goal is to see myself without the adversity I’ve had in my life because of my size.” Silva said. “If you are a person who has felt this way about your own image or body type or whatever you’re going through, I just want to say you should continue to be the best version of yourself.”
Struggles are the main source of motivation for Silva, and through the years he’s learned to make his weaknesses into his advantage. From his artistic performances, Silva stated that he has already received a lot of favorable feedback that helped him. He performs with emotion, he connects emotionally with his audience, and he wants to continue to grow that following and convey his message through his aerial act.
Silva’s Mindset Coming Into AGT All Stars
Silva has always stood by his rule of performing with his mind and his heart at the right place at the right time. He remains steadfast on his past mindset when competing at AGT, to perform with all the skill and experience that he has.
“My goal is to perform with my heart and my soul for the audience but also, I’m competing, not just performing.” Silva said.
The aerialist performer has made it very clear that he’s going into AGT All Stars fully intending to win. As the older brother of Alfredo Silva (Deadly Games), the pressure is on him to make their family of performers known worldwide.
