Get A Closer Look At This Season’s Amazing ‘AGT’ Acts In This New Preview

Season 14 of America’s Got Talent starts May 28, and the show is finally giving us a closer look at several of the amazing acts we can expect this year. The judges are definitely doing a pretty good job hyping things up before the premiere.
This promo highlights the addition of new judges Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough, as well as returning AGT: The Champions host Terry Crews. Returning judges Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel also share what makes this season of the show special.
What The Judges Have To Say
The judges continue to hint at a Golden Buzzer act that will blow us away. They first spoke about it back in March, when the season was being filmed. Howie called it the show’s “most epic moment,” and Terry said it would go viral.
In this new promo, Howie says the act in question will “drop your jaw.” Although the video implies that it’s Simon’s Golden Buzzer, previous comments indicated it was actually Gabrielle’s. Either way, we’re excited to see it.
New judge Julianne Hough emphasized how “inclusive” the show is, with Terry pointing out that many of the contestants are “people that you would not see on TV” were it not for the show.
Contestants We’re Most Looking Forward To
Several of the acts featured in this new preview have us very intrigued. There are a few young female singers, as is to be expected. But there’s also an amazing dance group doing the splits in unison, two men in suits doing an acrobatic routine, and a young break dancer. There also appears to be a dog act and a ventriloquist.
Of course, this season also promises plenty of heartwarming and tear-jerking moments. There’s a young violinist who says he was bullied at school, a blind singer who apparently gets Julianne’s Golden Buzzer, and a blind and autistic pianist. It’s no wonder Gabrielle said the show has turned her into a crier.
The new season of AGT premieres Tuesday, May 28, at 8/7 c on NBC.
