Gabby Barrett And Cade Foehner Share A Photo Of Their Newborn Baby — What’s Her Name?

American Idol alums Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner are officially parents! Gabby gave birth to a baby girl last week, and the couple shared a photo of her on Instagram Monday night.
They also shared the little girl’s name, and Cade wrote an emotional message about what becoming a father means to him. Check out the first sweet photo below, and read on to find out more.
Gabby Barrett And Cade Foehner Welcome Baby Girl
Gabby, 20, posted a photo of her daughter, named Baylah May Foehner, on Instagram. The pic doesn’t show Baylah’s face, but you can see her swaddled in a blanket with a pacifier in her mouth.

“Gotten to spend a very sweet week with our newest addition.. meet our girl,” Gabby wrote in the caption. She added that Maylah was born on January 18. Cade shared the same photo on his own Instagram.
“The Lord Jesus has given me so much that I scarce can believe it,” he wrote. “Not only to be saved from sin because of His Gospel but to also be given a Wife who is not only my best friend in the whole wide world but who also has bore me a child.”
Cade, 24, called himself “a blessed man beyond my understanding.”
Gabby And Cade’s Journey To Parenthood
Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner met when they were both contestants on American Idol Season 16. They were married in October 2019, and later shared video of their wedding with fans.

The couple announced they were expecting a baby in August 2020. They posed for photos showing off Gabby’s baby bump in People magazine, and shared that they were expecting a baby girl.
Cade said they started trying for a baby at the start of the pandemic. “We were expecting it to take a little while, and it seemed like the first try that it happened, so we were just so excited,” he said. “We were blown away that it worked so quickly.”
