It’s always interesting to see which friendships from Dancing With the Stars continue on past the series finale. Many friendships have surpassed their season of DWTS like Val Chmerkovskiy and Laurie Hernandez, AJ McLean and Cheryl Burke, and more.

It’s officially been nearly two months since season 30 of Dancing With the Stars concluded, so let’s take a look at which friendships have survived the competition. While many other people from last season are still friends, the love between these pairs give us the warm and fuzzies.

1. Matt James and Suni Lee

Matt James’ girlfriend, Rachel Kirkconnell shared an Instagram story stating that she and Matt were travelling to Auburn University to see Suni compete. While this wasn’t a friendship that was necessarily expected (considering Matt and Suni are both celebrities), it’s one that I appreciate. During interviews in the past season there were talks of how everyone on the cast were friends, this unexpected friendship more or less confirms that.

Matt seems to be the lovable big brother of this season. Not only did he and Kirkconnell visit Suni, they recently spent time in Utah with Matt’s DWTS partner Lindsay Arnold.

2. Jenna Johnson and JoJo Siwa

I think It’s safe to say every fan of DWTS expected Jenna and JoJo to remain friends after the season. Even though they haven’t seen each other too much since the series ended, they’re defintely still bffs. They originally reunited two weeks after the season ended in December, but had a longer reunion later in the month. JoJo happily third wheeled with Jenna and Val at a Los Angeles Lakers game. To this day, JoJo talks about facetiming Jenna frequently on Tiktok while on her D.R.E.A.M. Tour.

3. Olivia Jade and Val Chmerkovskiy

Soon after the DWTS finale, Olivia shared a dance YouTube video featuring Val. Although it wasn’t months after the series was over, it’s obvious this duo did remain friends. I can’t imagine how many hours it took to put on a production like this. Not only are Val and Olivia doing a routine, so are all of the background dancers. In the caption of the YouTube video, Olivia shared that the video was choreographed by Jessica “JJ” Rabone and Val.

Val’s wife and fellow pro-dancer Jenna Johnson also appeared on Olivia’s podcast as a guest, proving they’re all one big happy family.

4. Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten

Amanda and Alan haven’t been seen in person since their season ended, but that doesn’t mean their friendship is over. On Jan 20 this duo did an Instagram live together. The Instagram live was in relation to the DWTS tour… but I wholeheartedly believe these two are besties outside of the series based on their sweet comments to one another.

“Miss you so much!!! Can’t wait to instalive with you again,” Alan commented on the Instagram live announcement.

5. JoJo Siwa and Ezra Sosa

This is another friendship that developed behind the scenes for sure. For those who don’t know, Erza is one of the DWTS backup dancers. After the season of the series was over, JoJo went straight into rehearsal for the continuation of her ‘D.R.E.A.M.’ Tour. While getting ready to go on the road, JoJo added Ezra to her list of backup dancers. Outside of preparation for the tour they’ve shared photos from hangout sessions, gotten their hair done together, and more. Erza and JoJo even do a ballroom dance together in her concert!
