Free Britney’s Best Instagram Videos Since the End of Her Conservatorship

In November of this year, a judge voted to end the conservatorship Britney Spears had been under for 13 years. Fans in the Free Britney movement had long demanded that the singer regain control over her life, and it finally happened.
Since the news broke, the former X Factor judge has been posting plenty of videos to her Instagram account in which she dances, poses in her favorite outfits, shows off her Christmas decorations, and even sings. We’ve rounded up a few of our favorite examples from recent weeks.
1. Britney Spears Encourages Her Fans to Be Confident
Spears shared that she’d had a bad day after the paparazzi photographed her leaving a public bathroom. So she went home and had what she calls a PFC (“party for confidence”), posing in a few outfits in front of her Christmas tree to the sound of Madonna’s “Vogue.” The singer encouraged her fans to try it as well, telling them to put on a dress and heels, wear lip gloss, and keep their heads held high.
2. The Singer Shows Off Her Therapist Character
Spears showed her comedic side in a video where she pretends to be a therapist. One commenter dubbed her “Skitney” for the video. The bit is clearly based on her own experience, as she wrote in the caption, “As much therapy as I’ve had to do against my will … being forced to pay and listen to women telling me how they are going to further my success … it was a joy … no really … 10 hours a day, 7 days a week …”
3. Spears Is Proud of Her 2021 Christmas Tree
Spears got her Christmas tree up before Thanksgiving this year, and she showed it off proudly on Instagram. The singer shared that she chose to switch things up from her usual pink tree and went for a red theme. Spears posed in a few festive outfits next to the tree, to the sound of Justin Bieber’s “Under the Mistletoe.”
4. Spears Decides to Dance in the Middle of the Day
Spears has posted a few dance videos in recent weeks, showing off some interesting moves. The star explained that she decided to get up and move in the middle of the afternoon, writing, “It was ice cold outside and I could have curled up on the couch but no … I chose to twirl and live.”
5. The Star Belts Out a Song in Her Bathroom
It’s been five years since Spears released her last album Glory, and fans are no doubt excited to hear her sing again. Spears gave them a taste of her voice in a recent video filmed in her bathroom. The singer belted out a few notes while filming herself in the mirror, and she even showed off her lower register toward the end. Fans are loving it, as the video has over 13 million views.
