Frankie Grande Assaulted and Robbed in New York City

TMZ reports that, according to NYPD sources, Grande was punched in the back of the head while walking down the street in New York City last week. The teens in question allegedly stole Grande’s bag and ran away.

A few hours later, a 17-year-old and a 13-year-old reportedly tried to use Grande’s credit card at a smoke shop nearby. When police found out, they arrested the pair for assault, robbery, grand larceny, and other crimes.

Meanwhile, Grande has not posted about the alleged incident on social media. His most recent post on Instagram is a photo of his dog Appa. Last week, he shared a photo of himself after dropping off his ballot during the election.

On Twitter, Grande has posted more about the election and recently celebrated the first birthday of his sister’s beauty brand r.e.m. He also reacted to seeing the new movie Wakanda Forever on Sunday, but he hasn’t mentioned the alleged assault.

The Star Got Married Earlier This Year

In May of this year, Grande married Hale Leon in a small ceremony officiated by Grande’s mother Joan at the family’s home in Florida. The wedding was themed to Star Wars, as the couple was surrounded by people dressed as Stormtroopers and other characters such as Princess Leia and Chewbacca.

At the time, Grande wrote on Instagram that he was “the happiest I’ve ever been,” calling Leon “the man of my dreams” and adding that they were “well on our way to happily ever after.” He referred to his husband as Hale Grande, suggesting that Leon changed his last name.

Grande’s sister Ariana posted about the marriage on Instagram stories at the time, calling the couple “two very incredible and cosmically destined souls.” She added that she was wishing the pair “endless lifetimes of happiness and health and copious amounts of video games.”
