‘The Four’ Hits Its Season High In The Ratings

OK, so I’m not going to lie, we were a little worried about The Four. Their ratings have been…not great this season. But they consistently do better each week and with their comeback episode last night they hit their highest ratings this season. This makes us very happy.
This week they got a 0.9% share which is about 3.9 million viewers. That’s up from an all-time high of 2.9 million viewers. Is it the 12 million AGT gets? No. But they don’t have to be. It’s a completely different audience and the metrics as to whether or not the show is popular needs to be seen from a different perspective. Namely, The Four has to take streaming and YouTube into more account than AGT. That’s because AGT’s audience is a bunch of olds and The Four is for the youngins.
I’m glad The Four is doing better. They deserve it. One part of the hype of the show that is true is that it is definitely different than all the other talent shows.
