Ariana Grande has recently left fans confused over whether or not she is currently working on new music. Over the weekend, Grande had a very telling fan interaction, where she claimed she has yet to start working on her next album. Days later, insider sources confirm that she is creating new music. Here’s all the rumors broken down and how it intertwines with her role in the highly anticipated film, Wicked.

Is Ariana Grande Really Working on a AG7?

Over the weekend, a fan had a brief encounter with Grande and posed a straightforward question: “What is the name of your new album?” To this, the singer humorously replied, “Let Me Make It First,” implying that she has not yet begun the process of making new music or a new album.

Despite the fan interaction suggesting that Grande hasn’t started working on her music, insider sources have revealed a different story. It turns out that Grande is, in fact, actively engaged in creating her seventh album.

She is currently collaborating with renowned producer Max Martin in New York City. This rumored collaboration marks a significant step in the direction of her next musical project. Grande and Martin have previously joined forces on several chart-topping hits, including “God Is a Woman.”

It seems like the biggest difference between the fan interaction and her studio sessions can be explained with her prioritization dilemma. For the past two years, her primary focus has been her role as Glinda in the highly anticipated movie adaptation of the Broadway sensation Wicked. The commitment to her film character has consumed her creative energy and time, delaying her return to the recording studio.

The release date of Grande’s seventh album remains uncertain. She initially expressed her intention to refrain from releasing new music until after Wicked had its moment in the spotlight. However, Grande’s spontaneous nature and love for creating music might lead to a more unpredictable release date.

What Ariana Grande Has Been Doing Since Wicked Postponed Filming

As the world anticipates the return of Grande’s musical magic, her recent activities have raised intriguing questions about her artistic pursuits. With the temporary halt in filming for Wicked due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, Grande appears to have found herself with some unexpected free time. As a result, fans are left wondering if she’s seizing this opportunity to work on new music.

Notably, she recently attended her older brother Frankie Grande’s performance, where he portrayed Dr. Frank ‘N’ Furter in the Bucks County Playhouse production of The Rocky Horror Show in Pennsylvania.

Grande’s ability to adapt and create with spontaneity suggests that a new album may be in the works, even though the exact timeline remains uncertain.
