Dancing with the Stars pro Emma Slater recently posted a funny video on Instagram with her ex-husband Sasha Farber about “working with your ex.” The dancers finalized their divorce in 2024 after separating in 2022.

Emma Slater, Sasha Farber Joke About Working Post-Divorce

Earlier this week, Slater posted a video on Instagram in which she and Farber perform a quick dance routine together. It begins with Farber jumping over Slater before the two swing around with their arms linked.

“When people ask what it’s like working with your ex,” Slater wrote in the post’s caption. “I’m sure you guys were so happy to see Sash on your screens again.”

Slater and Farber tied the knot in 2018. The couple separated in 2022, with Slater filing for divorce the following year. The pair has continued to work together on Dancing with the Stars after their split. Slater has since started dating fellow pro Alan Bersten.

Clearly, the exes seem to be getting along just fine after their divorce. Farber replied to Slater’s recent Instagram video of the two of them with cry-laughing emojis.

Slater Is Currently on the Show’s Tour

Currently, Slater is working as the co-host of the Dancing with the Stars Live Tour. The annual tour sees the show’s pro dancers traveling the country to perform for fans — with some special celebrity guests. This year, Season 34 contestants Danielle Fishel, Andy Richter, Elaine Hendrix, Alix Earle, Dylan Efron, Jordan Chiles, and Robert Irwin are making appearances.

In addition to Slater, the 2026 tour also features pros Val Chmerkovskiy, Britt Stewart, Alan Bersten, Brandon Armstrong, Jenna Johnson, Daniella Karagach, Pasha Pashkov, and Ezra Sosa — along with troupe member Hailey Bills. Recent Mirrorball champion Witney Carson is also performing on select dates.

It is not yet known which DWTS pros will be returning for Season 35 later this year. We’ll have to keep waiting to learn more about the new competition.
