‘DWTS’ Pro Lindsay Arnold Thought She Would Lose Her Second Baby Amid “Intense” Bleeding

During the first trimester of her second pregnancy, Dancing With The Stars pro Lindsay Arnold suffered from “extremely bad“ bleeding. She recently shared the details of this experience in a new TikTok video.
Lindsay Arnold Details Her Subchorionic Hematoma
Arnold initially revealed her pregnancy bleeding condition back in November 2022, sharing her second baby’s ultrasound photo. Recently though, the DWTS pro said that she wants to detail the experience for anyone who has been through the same experience.
In a nearly three-minute TikTok video, Arnold stated that the first day of her bleeding happened when they were up in the mountains. While nervous about the situation, she betted that the hemorrhage would stop the next day. However, such prediction didn’t ring true as she endured more bleeding and was in extreme pain weeks after.
“Basically, Sam and I both thought that ‘okay I am most likely having a miscarriage’,” she said.
Despite this expectation, Arnold and her husband still held on to a slight hope that their second baby is still kicking. For those who may not know, Arnold also experienced hemorrhage during her pregnancy with her first child, Sage. Nonetheless, her level of bleeding before wasn’t as intense as the recent one.
Fortunately, her ultrasound indicated a heartbeat and that there’s a “baby moving around.” Furthermore, after four weeks of bleeding, Arnold’s hematoma has completely dissolved. With that, the DWTS pro is “very grateful that everything turned out okay.”

She Recently Gave Fans a Baby Bump Progress
At present, Arnold is 18 weeks away from welcoming another baby girl. The professional dancer updated her followers on Instagram about the recent changes happening in her body. According to Arnold, her second pregnancy is almost identical to the first one.
“Heartburn just started up which is right on cue, round ligament pain has begun so I think I’ll pull out the belly band soon, and maybe TMI but I started leaking milk already which is the exact same time I started leaking in my first pregnancy. Such a fun time!” she wrote.
Evidently, Arnold is now doing well with her pregnancy. Her family is indeed excited for their second born, and the DWTS pro is definitely “honored” to bring forth another life into the world.
