‘DWTS’ Pro Lindsay Arnold Suffers from “Scary” Bleeding Amid Second Pregnancy

Dancing With The Stars pro Lindsay Arnold recently updated fans regarding the state of her second pregnancy. Apparently, Arnold has been cramping and bleeding for weeks, making her extremely nervous for her baby.
Lindsay Arnold Endures Hemorrhage for Weeks
On October 31, Lindsay Arnold updated fans on her second pregnancy. Within her Instagram stories, she shared that she’s been experiencing a pregnancy complication called subchorionic hemorrhage. Showing an ultrasound photo, the DWTS pro admitted that the situation has felt “very scary” for a while.
“Today’s ultrasound appointment was mostly to check on my subchorionic hemorrhage,” she wrote. “I have had this with both pregnancies, but this time around, it was very large and I have been bleeding for about four weeks now!”
Arnold went on and explained that she used to bleed during her first pregnancy. However, while “super nervous” before, the circumstances were not that intense. According to the dancer, what she’s experienced recently was a large hemorrhage lasting for four consecutive days.
“I actually had this with Sage. It was very minor, though,” she said. “Nothing compared to the one I had this time around. This one was really bad.”
In another Instagram story, Arnold recalled how she underwent three ultrasounds to have her second baby checked. Fortunately, the bleeding seemed to have cleared up on its own.
“This was my 10-week [ultrasound photo] and you can still see the hemorrhage! Grateful because in today’s it looked like it has completely resolved,” wrote Arnold.
Arnold announced on October 24 that she and her husband Sam Cusick are expecting their second child due in May 2023. This is another step forward towards having a bigger family, after welcoming their first born Sage Jill Cusick is 2020.
They Recently Had a Gender Reveal Party
Not long ago, the Cusick family celebrated a gender reveal party. Arnold teased the special moment in a video uploaded on Instagram. Shown was little Sage wearing a colored dress to indicate whether the baby is a boy or a girl, while the married couple takes off their blindfolds to find out.
Arnold put a black and white filter in the video so fans would not know the gender yet. Consequently, fans intimated their guesses in the comment section, with most of them believing that that Arnold’s second baby is going to be a boy. Even her DWTS dance partner Matt James had the same assumption.
“I’m guessing baby boy!!” he wrote.
Later, Arnold revealed that her second child will be another girl. She confirmed her child’s gender in video from her gender announcement party.
