There have never been happier days for Dancing With The Stars professional dancers Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy after welcoming their first child into the world. Johnson shared a video on Instagram of Chmerkovskiy holding rocking their child, providing an intimate look into the couple’s life.
Jenna Johnson Provides First Look Video of Her Newborn Child
Johnson posted in her Instagram Stories a video in black and white showing her husband with their newborn child in his arms. The now-expired Instagram Story has been picked up and posted by a Reddit user.
The couple first revealed the exciting news that they were expecting their first child together in July 2022. The couple was initially in disbelief when they found out about the pregnancy, revealing that they were trying to conceive for two years.
“I remember watching people share these videos and aching because I wished so badly I could experience that joy,” Johnson said. “After two years of infertility and hundreds of negative tests after negative tests, it was heart-wrenching at times to stay optimistic.”
She went on to say that she and her husband had been losing hope before receiving the positive test that resulted in their son. Luckily, the couple is now enjoying their time with their newborn son. For those who may not know, the couple hasn’t officially announced their son’s name.
The Couple’s Extended Family Will Welcome Another Baby This Year
Chmerkovskiy and Johnson’s extended family will also be welcoming another baby this year. The older brother Maks Chmerkovskiy and his wife Peta Murgatroyd are expecting to have their second child.
“It brings me immense joy to finally announce that Maksim and I are expecting our Chmerkovskiy number two,” Murgatroyd said. “After two years of constant struggle and heartache, three miscarriages, and a failed embryo transfer, we have a healthy bun in the oven.”
While she admittedly indulges in her cravings, Murgatroyd has no qualms in showing everyone her growing baby bump. As the year 2023 approaches, the soon-to-be mother of two is thankful for a favorable outcome following a challenging year in her fertility quest.
