In a recent post, Inaba shared her experience with using social media and why she’s not so fond of it. She also opened up about a burnout that she’s been experiencing lately and how it isn’t what she thought it would be.
“As I scroll through social media I feel like there’s so much information out there that I didn’t want to add to the noise,” Inaba said. “I don’t want to be caught in that hamster wheel of feeling the need to post, I don’t like that feeling. I don’t like the idea of being a brand, I’m a human being, we all are, have a great day.”
Within the short video, Inaba asked if anyone else has been feeling that way. She then went on to clarify that she’s healthy. Regardless, many of her friends and fans reached out to her to show their support of what the DWTS judge is going through.
Following the release of the video, Inaba received an outpouring of love and support in the comments area. Others agreed with Inaba that it was time to figure out how to best use social media in their life and thanked her for her insight.
She Mainly Uses Social Media For Life Updates
Unlike most of her peers who frequently posts about almost everything, Inaba mainly posts significant events or updates in her social media. Her Instagram posts for example, mostly include long captions about yearly recaps, holidays, and other life updates.
In the past, Inaba has utilized social media to communicate with her fans about her health. Inaba revealed she has previously been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, lupus, arthritis, and Sjögren’s Syndrome. Inaba struggled to acquire a diagnosis from medical professionals when she initially became ill and sought treatment. Dry eyes, which is a sign of Sjögren’s Syndrome, is one of her prominent symptoms.
From the looks of her recent updates, Inaba seems to be doing well health-wise aside from the burnout she’s experiencing. She’s will return as a judge on DWTS season 32 to critique a brand new set of celebrity dancers.
