‘Drag Race’ Stars Ginger Minj, Kornbread, Kahmora Hall to Star in ‘Hocus Pocus 2’

RuPaul’s Drag Race favorites Ginger Minj, Kornbread, and Kahmorah Hall have joined the cast of the upcoming Hocus Pocus 2 movie. The three queens will portray the drag versions of the infamous Sanderson Sisters in the sequel to the classic 1993 film.
Season 7 contestant Ginger Minj will portray the drag version of Bette Midler’s character, Winifred Sanderson. Season 13 Drag Race alum Kahmorah will play the drag version of Sarah Jessica Parker’s character, Sarah Sanderson. Season 14’s Kornbread will play the drag version of Mary Sanderson, played by Kathy Najimy.
The Disney+ sequel filmed this past November in Rhode Island. The three queens apparently perform as the sisters in a drag show when the real witches when they make their return.
‘Hocus Pocus 2’ Will Premiere in Time for Halloween
In Hocus Pocus 2, three young women accidentally bring back the Sanderson Sisters to modern day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking havoc on the world. In addition to the Drag Race stars, most of the original cast is set to return for the new movie.

Hocus Pocus 2 is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ this fall, just in time for Halloween. Parker, Middler, and Najimy’s iconic roles have been impersonated by drag queens since the early 2000s. It was only right to make the audience’s dreams come true with the upcoming plot twist.
