Dermot O’Leary Confirms Cheryl Is Back On ‘The X Factor UK’
Rex Features The plot thickens. We told you yesterday how Nicole Scherzinger is pissed off at Simon Cowell and the producers of The X Factor UK for not letting her know if she’s coming back or not. Well, I guess this is your answer, Nicole. X Factor host Dermot O’Leary has confirmed that Cheryl will be back as a judge this coming season. So, unless Sharon or Louis are retiring, that means you are s.o.l, Nicole.

Rumors had been spreading for months now that Cheryl was going to return to the show. At first it seemed like that was what Nicole wanted as she had expressed a desire to go back to music. Cheryl also said last year that she didn’t want to return. But then, I guess, you wave enough money at a situation and it has a strange way of resolving itself.
There is another possibility that could have both Nicole and Cheryl on the panel. The British tabloids have been reporting rumors from mysterious “sources” that Cheryl said she would return only if they got rid of Louis Walsh. She and Louis have a feud that goes way back. Simon has fired Louis before so it could happen. All I know is that there is a lot of drama over at The X Factor UK right now.
