Derek Hough to Embark on a 50-City Tour Later This Year
Dancing with the Stars judge Derek Hough recently shared during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show that he’s embarking on a 50-city tour later this year. This is the dancer’s first tour in four years.
Derek Hough Announces 50-City Tour Later This Year
On Thursday, Hough teased on Instagram that he would be sharing a big announcement during his appearance on Clarkson’s show on Friday. During his interview, he talked about his upcoming 50-city tour, which kicks off in the fall.
“I’m so excited to go on tour. It’s the first time I’ve gone on tour in four years,” Hough told Clarkson. “So this show is gonna be unlike anything I’ve done before.”
Hough added that this tour will also be special because it will feature his fiancée Hayley Erbert. The couple actually met on tour, but this will be their first time touring together since becoming a couple.
According to Hough’s website, the new tour will be called A Symphony of Dance. The show will feature a variety of dance styles, including ballroom, Latin, and contemporary. It will also feature a live band. So far, only three dates have been announced. Fans can sign up to receive updates.

The Couple Is Also Planning Their Wedding
Clarkson marveled at the fact that the couple is planning both a tour and their wedding at the same time, As she joked, “Do you like to set yourself up for failure? Are you gonna be medicated throughout this process? That’s a lot.”
Hough shared that the couple is “just trying to find the right venue” for their wedding. However, they’ve already booked Michael Bublé as their entertainment. Hough explained that they’ve “become really close friends the past five years, and this past year even closer.”
The dancer said it’s “a major bromance,” joking that he “might marry him” instead of Erbert.
