Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert recently celebrated their third wedding anniversary. The two dancers tied the knot in August 2023, and they welcomed their first child together last December.

To mark their third wedding anniversary earlier this week, Dancing with the Stars judge Derek Hough and his wife, fellow dancer Hayley Erbert, shared heartfelt posts on Instagram remembering that special day in 2023.
“It feels like that day is both yesterday and a lifetime ago,” Hough wrote in his own post. “We stood there and had no idea just how much deeper, richer, and more profound our story would become.”
Hough also referred to “our little miracle,” the couple’s daughter Everley, who was born in December 2025. He closed the post by writing, “I love you endlessly, today, tomorrow, always.”
Erbert shared a similar sentiment in her own Instagram post, sharing a photo of her and Hough kissing at their wedding and writing, “It feels like just yesterday and like we’ve been doing this forever, all at the same time. I’m so proud of the life and love we’ve built.”

The Couple First Met in 2014
Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert first met back in 2014, when Erbert was hired to go on tour with Hough and his sister Julianne. The following year, Erbert became a troupe member on Dancing with the Stars.
The couple kept their romance private at first, although Hough revealed that he was dating someone in November 2016. They didn’t go Instagram official until months later, in May 2017. The pair announced their engagement in June 2022.
Just a few months after they tied the knot in August 2023, Erbert underwent emergency surgery following a cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel. Hough supported her through her recovery and eventual return to dancing.
