David Archuleta Comes Off of Vocal Rest
Archuleta’s 2022 began a bit rocky when he was forced to cancel his “OK, All Right” tour. Even though the singer was excited to finally begin this tour after years of rescheduling, he fell ill. Before his first concert, he announced via Instagram that his doctor ordered vocal rest for him. It was later revealed that he was diagnosed with a hemorrhaged vocal cord. As a result, the singer underwent vocal cord surgery in March.
Throughout the healing journey, Archuleta stayed on vocal rest per doctor request. In May, he participated in the American Idol reunion episode alongside Jordin Sparks, David Cook, Kris Allen and more. Near the end of May, Archuleta was taken off of vocal rest and sharing singing content to social media. Fans are happy to hear Archuleta singing once again.
