Dancing with the Stars Announces Taylor Swift Night
On Monday, the Dancing with the Stars social media shared the news that the show’s November 21 episode will be “A Celebration of Taylor Swift.” According to a press release, the remaining six couples in the competition will be dancing to Swift’s hits.
The episode will also feature a guest judge who is familiar with both DWTS and all things Taylor Swift — choreographer Mandy Moore, who worked on Swift’s Eras Tour and has choreographed opening numbers for the ballroom.
News of the episode doesn’t come as a complete shock, since pro dancer Peta Murgatroyd spilled the beans about it last month. Murgatroyd teased the theme in an interview, before wondering aloud, “Am I allowed to say that?”
Songs and dances for this episode will be announced at a later date, since there are still two weeks of competition (and two eliminations) before we know exactly which couples will be participating. The show will air live on ABC and Disney+, and voting will be open during the episode.

This Week Is Music Video Night
This week, the remaining eight couples will perform during Music Video Night, with Paula Abdul sitting on the panel as a guest judge. The episode will also feature team dances, with contestants joining together to dance to “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” and “Gangnam Style.”
Then next week, on November 14, the show will be celebrating Whitney Houston Night. The remaining couples will be dancing to hits by the iconic music star, who passed away in 2012. Billy Porter will appear as a guest judge.
