Kove is launching the new podcast with the audio platform PodcastOne. It will be titled Cobra Koves, and he’ll co-host with his kids, Jesse and Rachel. The three of them will recap episodes of Cobra Kai, which recently premiered its fourth season.

Kove will also share stories from filming the original movies, and the podcast will welcome guests from various fields to discuss topics such as mental health and bullying. The podcast will premiere on January 20.

“The stories and insight that Martin, Jesse, and Rachel will share on Cobra Koves will capture and charm everyone from television fans to film buffs to listeners looking for a set of dynamic hosts delivering top notch content,” said PodcastOne’s president Kit Gray in a statement. “We cannot wait to share this podcast with the world.”

Kove Competed on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Last Year

Kove was one of the celebrities to compete on the most recent season of Dancing with the Stars. Unfortunately, he was the first star eliminated, along with his partner Britt Stewart. They dance the Paso Doble and the Cha-Cha before leaving the competition.

“Martin couldn’t have been more different than Johnny [Weir, her last celebrity partner], but I love that,” Stewart said in an interview. “It pushed me as a choreographer and a dance teacher to really carry the experience for him and make sure, even though [it was] short-lived, it was really rewarding, exciting, and enjoyable for him.”

Now 75 years old, Kove has been acting in film and television since 1971. He’s been a regular on Netflix’s Cobra Kai since Season 2, and his son Jesse also had a small role on the series.
