Dan + Shay Celebrate 10th No. 1 Hit on Country Radio
“Save Me the Trouble” was the lead single off Dan + Shay’s fifth studio album, Bigger Houses. The song has reached No. 1 on country radio, according to the Mediabase chart. This is the duo’s 10th song to achieve this.
“It’s surreal to even say that out loud,” Dan Smyers said in the duo’s Instagram video announcing the news. “What a dream come true. Thank you so much to all the country radio stations who’ve played the heck out of this song. To our fans for showing love, for streaming this song, for spreading the word.”
Smyers pointed out that this is a great way “to kick off 2024.” The duo will soon be headed out on their Heartbreak on the Map tour, starting in February of this year. This April will mark 10 years since Dan + Shay released their first album, Where It All Began.
