Corbin Bleu Joins ‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’ Cast

The third season of the popular Disney+ original series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is now \ filming in Los Angeles, California. Some familiar faces are on the roster for this season of the High School Musical spin off series including Dancing With the Stars alum and original HSM cast member Corbin Bleu!
Corbin Bleu Among Other Former Disney Stars to Return for HSM
Fellow Wildcat fans, prepare to be excited. Corbin Bleu will return to his role of Chad Danforth in the upcoming season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Along with Bleu, the season has added a few other Disney related guests. Jason Earles (Hannah Montana) and Meg Donnelly (Zombies franchise) will appear in guest starring roles. Adrian Lyles and Saylor Bell (I Didn’t Do It) will be joining the series as regular characters.
“I knew that if I was to ever return it would need to be under the right circumstances, and I’m happy to say the boxes are being checked! I’m honored to join this season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,” Corbin wrote on Instagram. “This cast and writing team are so talented and I’m excited for you to see what’s in store! And I get to work with my old pal Jason Earles!”
Lyles is playing the part of camp Shallow Lake’s mysterious knew kid. Bell is a witty techie who always follows the rules. Bleu will play his character from the High School Musical franchise. It has not been revealed as to what Bleu’s relation with the camp is. Donnelly is a college student counselor who will choreograph the stage production, and Earles is the killjoy camp director of Camp Shallow Lake.
What’s The Plotline of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Season Three?
The third season of this series is taking place at Camp Shallow Lake. The wildcats and other campers will put on a production of Frozen while at the sleepaway camp. This season will feature music from Frozen, Camp Rock and the High School Musical franchises.
New cast members will join the returning characters from the past two seasons of the show. Joshua Bassett, Matt Cornett, Sofia Wylie, Julia Lester, Dara Reneé, Frankie Rodriguez, Kate Reinders, Olivia Rose, and Olivia Rodrigo will return for season three.
I imagine this season will have a similar feel as High School Musical 2, minus the fact that the kids are at sleepaway camp and not working for a country club. I think the idea behind this season of the series is interesting. The High School Musical and Camp Rock franchises have never meshed like this.
