Christina Aguilera Sizzles in Topless Photos Promoting Ladyland Festival

Christina Aguilera is set to headline the 2021 Ladyland Festival at the Brooklyn Mirage on Sept. 11. In preparation for the show, she posed topless and shared a list of all of the performers who are on the lineup.

Aguilera’s post now has over 725,000 likes on Instagram and thousands of flame emojis in the comments section. Aguilera’s fans also pointed out that her topless photos pay tribute to her 2002 Stripped album cover. She wore nothing but a pair of lace-up pants for the album cover and went fully topless.
The Stripped album features the song “Dirrty,” the sexy anthem that paved the way for a whole new generation of pop artists. Despite all of the criticism she received for the song being too raunchy at the time, it still remains as one of Aguilera’s favorite songs. She described the process behind the music video as “freeing” in an interview with Billboard.
The former coach of The Voice recently celebrated the 22-year anniversary of her self-titled debut album. The album reached No. 1 on the US Billboard 200. It earned the pop diva her first Grammy Award. She posted an Instagram video to commemorate the anniversary and give us all nostalgia in time for the Ladyland Festival.
Aguilera also celebrated the 15-year anniversary of her Back to Basics album at the beginning of August. With hits like “Ain’t No Other Man” and “Candyman,” Aguilera has proved that she has a diverse music style. Her Ladyland Festival performance will feature a number of her crowd-pleasing throwback songs.
LadyLand is an outdoor queer music festival that celebrates queer talent and gay icons. Caroline Polachek will also be performing. RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 12 winner Jaida Essence Hall will MC the event. Season 10 winner Aquaria will be performing a DJ set. Tickets are still available for the event but they could potentially sell out with an icon like Aguilera hitting the stage.
