Christina Aguilera Shares Meaning Behind New Spanish EP ‘La Fuerza’

Christina Aguilera released her newest six track EP La Fuerza. This pop Latin album is recorded in spanish and features some other popular names in music including Nicki Nicole, Ozuna, and Becky G.
For the past few months, Christina Aguilera has been dominating the Latin music industry. It all began in late October when she released “Pa Mis Muchachas” (feat. Nathy Peluso). Although Aguilera is no stranger to Latin music, her recent hits have really popped off.
This singer has previously noted that she has received a lot of criticism over the years for not publicly embracing her Latin side. It’s clear that Aguilera is sticking to latin music in 2022 given her recent explanation behind her new EP.
“Latin music has always been rooted in me and my childhood…and once that connection is there it’s with you forever. La Fuerza is a project for myself, my roots, and my kids – so they can sense a deeper level of who they are,” Aguilera wrote. “It’s a dream to share my history, my love and my respect for a part of me that’s so dear to my heart. I’m proud to explore more about myself & my musical passions with every new project. It’s been incredibly special to get to work with so many talented artists in bringing this body of work to life…and this is only the first chapter!”
Many of the songs off of this album have an electronic beat with Aguilera’s beautiful voice overlayed. Each song on this album sound different from the other. Aguilera is known for having songs that sound musically different within each of her albums, so it’s great to see this brought to her Latin music as well.
Fans Cannot Get Enough of Christina Aguilera’s ‘La Fuerza’
Even though this album was released this morning, the songs already have thousands of views on YouTube. Fans can’t get enough of her Latin sound! They’re all seen sharing their support of the queen in the video comments. Many fans are sharing that they’re happy the queen has finally brought her outstanding vocals to the Latin music industry.
“We are twerking, we are enjoying, we are celebrating,” a fan commented on YouTube (translated to English). “The queen has arrived, the queen is here, let’s dance without end.
This EP is already doing extremely well on the iTunes U.S. Latin music charts. Her EP is currently No. 1 on the iTunes U.S. Latin music chart, while her single “Santo” is No. 1 in the song category. Aguilera has always been called the queen, so it’s no surprise that she’s finding success with her new endeavors in Latin music.
