Esther Benyeogo Wins ‘The Voice Nigeria’ Season 3
During the Season 3 finale, Benyeogo performed “You Raise Me Up” by Josh Groban. She wore a beautiful pink dress and an elaborate updo as she belted out the spiritual song. During this episode, she also sang “Hello” by Adele, and it was just as stunning as we’ve come to expect from her.
Benyeogo was overcome with emotion when she was announced as the winner of the show, after a long pause from host. She fell to her knees on the stage and began crying. Her fellow finalists, KPee and Eazzie, rubbed her back and helped her up.
Fans seem to be thrilled that Benyeogo was named the winner of this season. As one commenter wrote on YouTube, “Esther winning this season, definitely redeemed this show.” Another fan wrote that her performance of “Hello” was “her best vocal moment yet.”
This Isn’t the Singer’s First Talent Show Win
This isn’t the first time Benyeogo has won a talent show with her amazing voice. When she was 19 years old, she won GOD’s Children Great Talent Season 7. She later released a Christian music EP called Carry Me.
On Instagram, Benyeogo describes herself as “Worship Leader/Songwriter” and “SIMPLY DEVOTED TO JESUS.” She also mentioned her faith in an Instagram post celebrating her The Voice Nigeria win, writing, “If you still don’t believe that when you have Jesus, you have it all, take a look at me! I’m a living proof!”
Congratulations to Esther Benyeogo on her win! We hope to hear even more from this talented singer in the future.
