Chrissy Teigen Shares How She Lost Her Daughter Luna’s First Tooth Twice

Chrissy Teigen stopped by The Tonight Show this week to talk to Jimmy Fallon about her docuseries The Way Down: God, Greed, and the Cult of Gwen Shamblin, as well as share some funny stories about her family. That includes the story of daughter Luna losing her first tooth.
Chrissy Teigen Dropped Luna’s Tooth Down the Sink
Teigen shares two kids with her husband, The Voice coach John Legend — 6-year-old daughter Luna and 3-year-old son Miles. After Luna lost her first tooth, Teigen immediately dropped it down her bathroom sink.
The cookbook author said they spent “thousands of dollars” to “bring someone in with a camera” to look for the tooth. When they finally found, it, Teigen put it into a Ziploc bag. Then she ended up accidentally throwing the bag away. Luckily, she managed to keep the other teeth Luna lost.
Meanwhile, Miles has started playing tee ball, but he doesn’t understand the rules. Teigen brought a cute clip of Miles’ first hit. As soon as he hits the ball, he doesn’t know what to do, and he has to be told to drop the bat and start running.
Teigen and Legend also recently brought their kids to the Grammys in Las Vegas. Fallon shared a photo of the family dressed up for the event. Teigen said Miles “loves a suit” like his dad.

Teigen Executive Produced Docuseries ‘The Way Down’
Teigen is an executive producer on the HBO Max docuseries The Way Down: God, Greed, and the Cult of Gwen Shamblin. The series focuses on the late Gwen Shamblin, who founded the diet program Weigh Down Workshop and led a Christian group called The Remnant Fellowship.
As the series was finishing up, news broke that Shamblin had been killed in a plane crash, along with her husband Joe Lara and son-in-law Brandon Hannah, as well as four others.
“As time passed, we realized that people were more and more okay with speaking out now that she was gone,” Teigen shared. “They were very fearful of her. They were scared to go against her. They didn’t know if the church would come and attack their families. They felt like they were in danger.”
The first three episodes of The Way Down debuted on HBO Max last year. The last two episodes are set to premiere April 28.
