Chrissy Teigen Talks Moving to Las Vegas with John Legend
The Voice coach John Legend just announced that he’s starting a Las Vegas residency next year. The show kicks off April 22 and will run into October of 2022. Legend will be performing at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood, which is where fellow coach Gwen Stefani recently finished her own residency.
Teigen spoke to guest host J.B. Smoove about the family’s plans to make the move to Vegas for Legend’s show. Teigen is excited about the change, mostly because there’s another artist she wants to see perform.
“I am genuinely excited, because I am gonna hit up Adele’s residency,” Teigen joked, referring to the singer’s recently announced show at the Colosseum. “I’ve seen his show!”
She got more sincere after that, saying Legend is “bringing some romance to Vegas.” She said the couple’s kids, Luna and Miles, love traveling and being on tour. They also love watching their dad perform, although she shared that Miles can fall asleep right next to the stage.

Teigen Was Dragged Out of a Casino at 8 Years Old
Chrissy Teigen is already pretty familiar with Las Vegas. She shared that she and her mom used to take road trips to the city when she was a kid. On one particular trip, Teigen got in trouble with the police for where she was sitting.
“My first interaction with police was getting dragged out of a casino at 8 years old,” Teigen recalled. “My mom was, like, hitting the slots, and I was sitting on the steps. And you can’t be on the steps as an 8-year-old. So they take you away.”
Teigen just released her new cookbook, Cravings: All Together, which is her third New York Times best seller. She said she finally feels like she can list “author” as her occupation when filling out forms.
